SHOW YOUR RESPECT!
Submitted by
Miss McLaughlin, Mrs. Crowley, and Mrs. McNeill
The entire
student body will be studying the character trait of RESPECT for the month of
October. Some ways in which we all can show respect at home, school, and in the
community are: by using manners, courteous language, showing people that they
are important to you by the way you treat them, listening carefully, thinking
about the feelings of others before you do or say anything, being able to
disagree with someone without anger or violence, returning what you borrowed in
good condition, behaving appropriately in class, respecting the
earth/environment (example: picking up trash). Also, if you happen to be in the
school building during the month of October, please check out the hall display
on RESPECT. Thank you in advance for your help and support on this project.
The money
collected from our October 25th Spirit Day will be going to C.U.P. (Catholic
United for the Poor). Our Daily Bread is as a beneficiary of this organization.
We also will be collecting items for the Mary Magdalene House on a voluntary
basis throughout the month of October. Items needed are: tooth brushes, small
tubes of toothpaste, Vaseline, baby powder, deodorant, bar soap (hotel soap is
fine). Please send them to school with your child.
