Letter
from Fr. Peter St. George
Dear Parishioners,
"We always give thanks to God in our prayers for you because
we have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and the love you bear
for one another." Col. 1:3-4
These words from St. Paul to the Colosssians in 62 A.D. can also be spoken to the St. Ignatius faith community as we celebrate our 55th Anniversary in 2001. The parish has grown from 78 charter members in 1946, to the current 2,239 families, with additional households beings added each month. As we have entered the third Millenium of Christianity, let us live the motto of St. Ignatius, For the Greater Glory of God, and strive to be a Light of Faith in Monfort Heights and the World.
God's Blessings to you and our Parish,
Fr. Peter St. George
