Finance Commission Bingo: Bingo is held each Sunday evening. Early bird games begin at 7:00 and regular games at 7:45. It provides entertainment to members of the community and funds capital expenses of the School and Church complex. Contact Barb Campbell (661-6565) or Rita Wood (741-7959). Budget Committee is a group of parishioners with financial backgrounds, who assist the parish staff in forming the annual parish budget. Contact Jane Paulin (5 74-8565). Building & Grounds Committee: The purpose of this committee is to provide expertise in administering, planning and supervising the parish properties by making recommendations to the Pastor. Contact George Riehle (574-7242). Bulletin & Insight: The parish bulletin is distributed every weekend and is the ordinary way of keeping parish members up-to-date on the events in the parish. Deadline for information is Monday, at 12:00 noon. Notices must be in writing or faxed (389-3241) to the Parish Office. Contact Marlene Auciello (661-6565). The parish newsletter "Insight" is published monthly It reports on special activities and programs, as well as the parish's "vital statistics" (e.g. baptisms, weddings, new parishioners, honor rolls, etc.). Deadline for this publication is the lst day of each month at 12:00 noon. Notices are to be submitted in writing or faxed (389-3241) to the Parish Office. Contact Marlene Auciello (661-6565). Collection Counters is a group who generously gives of their time to help count the various parish collections. Contact John Peter (389-1044). Festival: The Parish Festival is held the 4th weekend of August, which provides community spirit and funds capital improvements for the School and Church Complex. Everyone is needed to help. Chairpersons: Barb Campbell (661-6565), Len Grote (574-3583) & Larry Kiefer (661-2427). Garden Society: This group coordinates the landscaping and maintains the flower gardens on the parish grounds. P.A.C.E./Grocery Gift Certificate is a parish program to provide tuition assistance for school and PSR families, capital improvement funds, and reduce the number of other fundraisers. The parish receives from 1% to 10% profits for each gift certificate from Kroger, Sams, Colerain IGA, Johnny's Toys, Bob Evans, Perkins, T.G.I. Friday's, Red Lobster & Olive Garden and others. The certificates can be purchased after weekend masses, from neighborhood sellers, and at the Parish and School Offices. Coordinators are Mary Beth Schmidt (574-0752) Heidi Kemper (598-1363) and Connie Adams (574-2757). Parish Mailings: Volunteers assist with parish mailings throughout the year. To help, call Marlene Auciello (661-6565). St. Ignatius Golf Outing is an annual Spring parish event for men and women to enjoy golf and friendship. The profits from the event assist the St. Ignatius Tuition Assistance Fund. Contact Ron Kathmann (574-0880). St. Joseph Helpers: A group of men (mostly retired) assists the parish maintenance crew in a variety of ways. Duties include painting, carpentry skills, plastering, cleaning, etc. All help is appreciated. Contact Mike Lovett (661-8388). |
