of Jesus Christ by using its members' gifts of healing in the service
of the Saint Ignatius community. Today more and more hospitals offer
its patients the opportunity to complement conventional medical care
with other holistic approaches to health and healing, among them the
ministry of "Healing Touch". During the coming months, the
Parish Health Ministry will share more details about this approach to
stress reduction, relaxation and healing. This week, we offer three
powerful healing principles which you might want to focus on as you
go about your day. First: the power of affirming love is extraordinary.
Second: the Holy Spirit can and will do within you what you cannot do
yourself. Third: turn off the bad news and turn on the good news. If
you would like to know more about the ministry of Healing Touch and
how it is incorporated in our health care system, contact Barb Evans.
