Emergency Meals

Meals are provided to parishioners on a temporary basis during times of crisis, such as hospitalization, serious illness, etc. Volunteers prepare meals in their homes and take them to the family in need.

Parish Health Ministry

The Parish Health Ministry promotes individual, family, and community health in body, mind, and spirit. It helps people help themselves through education, prevention, and supportive services, including: visiting the sick, transportation, meals, respite care, health screenings, a prayer shawl ministry, and a Health & Safety Fair for St. Ignatius' school children near the end of the school year.

The ministry also sponsors blood pressure screenings on the last Sunday of the month after all morning Masses and at the monthly Seniors meeting, and an annual LifeLine Screening.

Volunteers are always needed.

Meets the second Tuesday of the month in one of the Parish Office conference rooms.

Prayer Shawl Ministry

The members of this ministry knit and crochet prayer shawls while praying. The shawls or for anyone experiencing physical or emotional suffering, and can be picked up at the parish office. They may be given by anyone.
